I need medical care after an accident. Where can I go?
If you need a place to be treated, the firm can put you in touch with a medical provider.
-
What steps can a case go through?
A claim may pass through the steps below. Some cases skip steps, and some do not end in a settlement.
- 1 Intake: The firm hears how the injury happened and reviews any papers you already have.
- 2 Pre-litigation: The firm starts the insurance claim and takes over the calls and letters with the insurers.
- 3 Medical: The firm keeps track of your care and collects the bills and records from each provider.
- 4 Demand and negotiation: The firm sends the insurer a written demand, then negotiates with them.
- 5 Settlement: You decide whether to accept an offer. If you accept, the money is paid out as your written fee agreement says.
- 6 Litigation, only in some cases: If a lawsuit is needed, the firm files one and the case continues in court.
-
How much money will I get?
There is no set amount. Each claim depends on its own details, such as how you were hurt and what care you needed. The firm cannot promise any result, and no outcome is guaranteed.
